The Eurofins Agro Testing network of laboratories across New Zealand offers a range of plant testing profiles for pasture, arable and horticultural crops. We can tailor our analytical profiles to suit specific customer requirements.
Our agricultural testing services include:
- Mixed Pasture Sample Analysis: To check for mineral levels available to your livestock, both for major nutrients and, in particular, trace elements such as copper (Cu), cobalt (Co), selenium (Se), and sodium (Na). This information helps to determine whether the pasture is deficient in one or more trace elements, and how your stock needs supplementing.
- Clover-only Herbage Sample Analysis: To check the effectiveness of a fertiliser program in terms of the levels applied and the balance between major nutrients. Clover-only sampling is essential in diagnosing both molybdenum (Mo) and boron (B) deficiencies.
- Plant Nutrient Status Information: Including guidelines on how the nutrients meet animal health requirements.
Our horticultural testing services include:
- Crop leaves analysis: To check for deficiencies in both major and trace elements that can affect plant growth and crop production.
- Fertrend™ graphs: These graphs indicate the ideal nutrient levels over the growing season, and are available for asparagus, persimmon, tamarillo, nashi pear, nectarine, apple, peach, apricot, and kiwifruit (green and gold).
A large range of plant nutrient reference ranges are available for pasture, arable and horticultural crops.
